Additional ECFE programs and services

School Readiness is a public school program for children 3½ or 4 years olds and their families in Minnesota.  School Readiness provides children with opportunities to participate in preschool classes.  School Readiness prepares children to enter kindergarten with the necessary skills, behavior and stability to progress and flourish.

Early Childhood Screening provides an opportunity for children and their parents to participate in a health and developmental screening sometime between the ages of three to five years old.  Minnesota state law requires the free screening for all children entering public school kindergarten.  Identifying potential health, development problems concerns early allows time for intervention and remediation during the critical formative years. 

Family Resource Center is an educational lending center for families.  The center offers parenting books and other information and educational toys and books for young children.

Family Literacy Program includes adult basic education and early childhood family education.
